30-Year Industry Vet Survives Shark Tank, Joins Hoar’s Florida Team

Birmingham, AL-based Hoar Construction expanded its team with the addition of Doug Storer, who joins as director of business strategies for the Florida Division. Storer will leverage 30 years of design and construction experience to craft innovative solutions and develop implementation strategies to meet client construction goals.

Hoar’s Michael Parks says, “We have built tremendous momentum in Florida by focusing on efficient, innovative, and workflow-driven processes to deliver the very best building experience possible.”

Storer brings a comprehensive understanding of the finance, development, design and construction of complex public and private buildings. He has led national teams for multibillion, Fortune 15 companies and has deep experience of the public sector having served as an elected official for more than a decade.

He also brings the unique experience of inventing a patented safety shoe light product for work and play. These products have been sold in 50 countries and were featured on ABC’s ‘Shark Tank.’
