30-Story MF Proposed in DTLA

Jade Enterprises proposes developing a 30-story mixed-use project at 1123-1161 S. Main St. in DTLA. The family-owned real estate firm envisions a project with 363 apartments atop a four-story podium featuring 12,500 square feet of retail, and parking for 373 cars and 192 bicycles.

The redevelopment site currently houses a strip of commercial buildings at 12th and Main Streets. The new apartment tower unit mix includes one, two, and three-bedrooms.

The design of the proposed project has the tower at the middle of the site, which is expected to reduce the building’s total mass, while providing improved solar orientation for a podium pool courtyard. A rooftop deck featuring a second pool, as well as indoor lounge rooms, is also planned.

The latest project is across Main Street from another project Jade has proposed for an eight-story apartment complex.
