3 Labs Buys Former Botto’s Bakery in Maine

The former Botto’s Bakery at 550 Washington Avenue has been acquired by 3 Labs, LLC for $980,000. The buyer’s intention is to renovate the 9,045-square-foot building and lease out retail suites.

In 2022, Botto’s expanded its operations by leasing a facility at 5 Karen Drive in Westbrook, Maine, adding 5,000 square feet to its space. “The new facility has made us much more efficient in all departments, and the extra space gives me better buy-power on bulk ingredients,” said owner Steve Mathews. “By the end of October, our production will be up 25% over last year. Shoutout to Craig Young and Sasha Phillips of The Boulos Company for all their help in making this move possible.”

The sale was facilitated by Craig Young and Sasha Phillips of The Boulos Company, who represented Botto’s, while Josh Soley of MRA represented the buyer.
