2nd Highest Price Ever for Staples in the Bronx

Investors paid $11 million for a 16,200-square-foot Staples retail condominium on one of the busiest streets in the Bronx.

That works out to $679 per square foot. The sale represents the 2nd highest price ever recorded for a Staples sale, and the 3rd highest price per square-foot for a Staples, according to Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, which marketed the property for White Plains Commercial LLC, which appears to be an entity of the Arker Companies.

The retail condo is on the first floor of 2040 White Plains Rd. in the Bronxdale neighborhood. The seven-story building opened in 2007 with 102 rental apartments, owned by the Arker Companies.
