$2B Miami Worldcenter Comes to Life in Downtown Miami
Miami Worldcenter, a $2-billion mixed-use development that will reshape the center of Downtown Miami, is finally coming to life. Two residential towers are rising fast, and more than 140,000 square feet of retail space is now under construction on 27-acres spanning 10 city blocks.
The transit-oriented development includes:
-Caoba apartments, a 444-unit project anticipated to deliver in Q4 2018
– Paramount Miami Worldcenter, a 569-unit, 60-story luxury condominium tower, which reached the 48th floor of construction and is slated for completion during Q1 2019
– The Forbes Company and Taubman’s 300,000 square feet of open-air retail, dining and entertainment space is well underway. Delivery is expected to begin in Q4 2019
Other development components include MDM Group’s 1,700-room Marriot Marquis (staring Q4 2018), Zom’s Luma 434-unit luxury apartment tower (breaking ground later this year, completion anticipated in 2020) and Hines’ Class AA mixed-use office tower (breaking ground in 2019 and delivering in 2021).
Miami Worldcenter is the second-largest urban development underway in the U.S., behind New York’s Hudson Yards.
