287-Unit Lenox Maplewood, Phase I, Begins

Oden Hughes LLC began construction on the first phase of Lenox Maplewood, a multiphase apartment and townhome complex in Dallas’ Medical District. The development’s first phase will consist of 275 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 12 three-bedroom townhomes, and are scheduled to open in late 2020.

The Austin developer is building the complex at Denton Drive and Hudnall Street, across the street from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Inwood/Love Field station. The project is one rail stop away from Parkland Memorial Hospital and the corporate campus of Southwest Airlines. University of Texas Southwest Medical Center is less than half a mile away.

The timing of any additional phases has not been determined; zoning on the property allows for up to 800 units. Oden Hughes acquired 10.4 acres, recently selling one acre for commercial development.
