Live Resort Casino opens in Bossier City

$270M Shreveport-Area Resort Casino Taking Bets

The Cordish Companies opened LIVE! CASINO & HOTEL LOUISIANA, a $270+ million resort in the Shreveport-Bossier market. Located along the Red River, Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is projected to generate $35 million in gaming tax revenues for Bossier City and $168 million for the State of Louisiana within the first five years, as well as $34 million in annual salaries. Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana will generate 1,550 new jobs, including 750 construction jobs and 800 permanent positions.

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana features:

  • Over 47,000 square feet of gaming space.
  • A 549-room upscale hotel with a resort pool and fitness center.
  • A 25,000-square-foot multi-purpose venue for concerts, meetings and conventions.
  • Dining and entertainment venues including 10 new food and beverage outlets.
