$255M JV Formed for Platinum Triangle Development
San Diego, CA-based JPI formed a $255-million joint-venture with Beijing-based Grand China Fund to develop a 747-unit luxury residential project within Anaheim’s Platinum Triangle. The 17.6-acre master-planned development is part of the Jefferson Stadium Park site.
A 1.1-acre city park is planned for the site, located at State College Blvd. and Gene Autry Way, directly adjacent to Angels Stadium.
JPI’s Gus Villalba notes that international capital markets were drawn to the project, leading to formation of a new relationship with Grand China Fund. He says, “It gives us great confidence that we are building a portfolio of development projects that are resulting in the creation of investment partnerships from broader markets.”
Other Platinum Triangle projects involving JPI include the $180-million Jefferson Platinum Triangle, a 400-unit luxury apartment community under construction and scheduled for occupancy later this year.
