$250M Seaboard Station MXU Planned in Raleigh, N.C.
Washington, D.C.-based PN Hoffman acquired Seaboard Station in Raleigh, NC from William Peace University for a reported $34 million. The developer plans to build a $250-million mixed-use project that would be built in three phases and consist of roughly 800,000 square feet at full build-out.
PN Hoffman’s Monty Hoffman says, “We’re excited about joining the Raleigh community. And, we’re honored to have been selected by William Peace University on the redevelopment of Seaboard Station.”
The plan calls for ground-level retail, multifamily residential and hotel uses, including roughly 650 apartments, 150 hotel rooms, 90,000 square feet of new retail space and a total of 135,000 square feet of retail space at full build-out. City rezoning approvals must be secured, but Hoffman hopes to break ground next year.
