250K-SF Dallas Office Building Acquired by Gutow

The Gutow Co., along with Vertical Partners, acquired the 13-story building a 12001 N. Central Expressway. The nearly 250,000-square-foot office building is along U.S. Highway 75. Gutow plans upgrades for the building.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the building was valued at $28.5 million in 2025. On its website, Panther, the seller, had to turn the property over to its lender, KKR, which eventually sold it. Panther said it only redistributed a fraction of the original cost it paid to investors.

Formerly known as the Atlas Energy Tower, the 246,955-square-foot building will now be known as 12001 NCX. The building is currently 50% leased with 15,000 square feet of new leases secured and additional leases in negotiation.

The revamp will focus on upgrading common areas, revitalizing existing amenities and offering fully built-out, move-in-ready spaces. The company said it expects to begin improvements immediately.
