246-Unit Rio Vista Sells to Florida Investor

The 246-unit Rio Vista, an apartment complex in the Fort Worth suburb of Haltom City, sold to a Florida investor. The seller, listed as Rio Vista Apts LLC of Tarzana, CA, sold the property at 6324 Baker Blvd. for an undisclosed price.

Marcus & Millichap’s Al Silva and Ford Braly marketed the 13-building property on behalf of the seller, and also procured the buyer. The asset attracted 16 interested buyers; the new owner is planning to spend more than $2.5 million on renovations to the exteriors, common areas and unit interiors.

Rio Vista delivered in 1969, and offers two-bedroom units, averaging 896 square feet. On-site amenities include a swimming pool, laundry facility, volleyball court, clubhouse and playground.
