24/7, Staffless Golf Simulators to Open in The Woodlands

For many avid golfers, playing golf only when its sunny is not enough. A staffless, 24/7 golf simulator concept is ready to satisfy the craving of hackers and professionals alike just east of The Woodlands.

Another Nine expects to open at 26824 Interstate 45 in September.

Local franchisee David Lobpries signed a lease with property owner 2ML Real Estate Interests last November and has started construction on the more-than-2,300-square-foot build-out in the Shoppes at Oak Ridge North retail center.

The Houston Business Journal reports the venue will have four approximately 400-square-foot private golf simulator suites, which customers can book by the hour. Pricing usually ranges between $30 and $40 per hour per suite, depending on the location and day of the week.

What distinguishes this concept is that it is fully self-service, with no staff onsite. Players book online.

Games are set up via intuitive touchscreens, and customers can play different numbers of holes or practice by hitting golf balls with real golf clubs onto an impact screen that measures the ball’s velocity and direction.
