$239M Hospital Planned for Sharp Chula Vista
Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center plans to build a $239-million hospital in San Diego’s South County, called Ocean View Tower.
The new facility, which is expected to break ground by the end of next year and is set for a fall 2019 opening, will total 170,000 square feet and include 138 patient rooms and six operating rooms.
The Ocean View Tower at Sharp Chula Vista is reportedly the largest development that the medical center has ever undertaken. Funding is being provided by Sharp HealthCare Foundation and Medi-Cal Hospital Fee Program.
