233 Units Planned with Revamped Retail

Austin-based developer Endeavor Real Estate has changed course on its plans to revamp Springtown Center, at 1104 Thorpe Lane in San Marcus, TX. In addition to bringing new tenants such as Gold’s Gym, Chuy’s and an entertainment venue to the property, Endeavor is planning a 233-unit apartment complex to be called The Lyndon.

The multifamily property is named after President Lyndon B. Johnson, who attended Texas State University in San Marcos, when it was known as Southwest Texas State Teachers College. It is expected to be completed in mid-2019.

The apartments will offer a total of 515 beds throughout the units, targeting a mix of Texas State students and non-students. Texas State currently enrolls approximately 40,000 students. The remaining portion of Springtown Center is 100% leased.
