220K-SF Chimney Rock Going North in NJ

Regency Centers Corp. broke ground on Chimney Rock, a $70 million, 219,947-square-foot grocery-anchored retail center in Bridgewater, NJ. Completion on the development at US. 22 and Interstate 87 is anticipated by summer 2018.

The center will be anchored by Somerset County’s first and only Whole Foods Market, which will take down approximately 50,000 square feet. Other retailers will include Nordstrom Rack, Saks off 5th, Ulta and The Container Store.

“This is an incredible opportunity in a powerful market,” said Jack deVilliers, who operates out of Regency Center’s just-opened Connecticut office. “This isn’t just another shopping center. We will create an intimate style and personality that is reflective of the needs and wants of the region.”
