210-Key Hampton Breaks Ground in Downtown Phoenix

Mortenson Co. began construction on a 210-key, 11-story Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in downtown Phoenix, AZ. The development, at North 1st and East Polk Streets, is scheduled to deliver in summer 2018. The facility will be the first Hampton Inn & Suites in Phoenix’s CBD. PK Architects and Design Force are the architects on the project.

The hotel’s location means it will attract demand from both the central business district, as well as the downtown campus of Arizona State University and Phoenix Biomedical Campus. “The strength of our location, combined with the strength of the Hampton flag, will be a great addition to the downtown Phoenix lodging supply,” said Mortenson’s Nate Gundrum.
