2018 Opening for Manhattan’s First Nordstrom

The Nordstrom flagship store at Columbus Circle will open its Men’s Store in spring 2018, a whole year and a half before the rest of the store opens in fall 2019, according to Curbed.

The first Nordstrom in Manhattan will be spread over four properties. The Men’s Store will fill 43,000 square feet at 3 Columbus Circle, a 310-foot office building once the headquarters of General Motors.

The Nordstrom store will also fill seven floors at Central Park Tower, now under construction by Extell Development. The tower’s 179 condos are expected to start selling in the second half of this year. The Nordstrom will also fill one floor at 5 Columbus Circle and another four floors at 1776 Broadway. The interiors of Central Park Tower, 5 Columbus Circle, and 1776 Broadway will all be connected.
