1M-SF Liberty Mutual Campus Tops Out

KDC and Balfour Beatty celebrated the topping out of Liberty Mutual Insurance’s new 1.1-million-square-foot regional campus at the 255-acre, mixed-use Legacy West in Plano, TX. The $325-million, 19-story campus offers plenty of employee amenities, including a medical center with physical therapy services, a full-service cafeteria and gourmet coffee bar, two large conference centers, two rooftop gardens and more than 4,000 covered parking spaces. The complex near Legacy Drive and SH 121 will house more than 4,000 Liberty Mutual employees, with move-in scheduled to begin in December 2017.

In other news, NE Development will break ground shortly on Legacy West’s tallest project. The 29-story, $100-million residential tower, dubbed LVL 29, will be adjacent to the Liberty Mutual Insurance new office campus. Humphreys & Partners and Henderson Design Studios are the development’s designers.
