1950s-Era Covina Bowl Listed for Sale

Progressive Real Estate Partners SVP of retail leasing and sales Roxanne “Roxy” Klein has listed the Covina Bowl, a freestanding commercial building in Covina. Located at 1060 W. San Bernardino Rd., the building is situated just north of the I-10 freeway in Los Angeles County’s San Gabriel Valley.

Listed for $2,495,000, the property presents the rare opportunity for a buyer to open a high-profile office or a unique retail concept in the 10,110-square-foot space while also owning one of LA County’s most recognizable and architecturally significant landmarks, according to Progressive Real Estate.

The building’s one-of-a-kind, retro-inspired architecture dates back to the 1950s and is a prime example of the Googie design style, featuring a distinctive A-frame roof, neon signage and clean lines, according to Progressive. “The unique character and commanding presence make the building an ideal fit for any business looking to make an impression and own a piece of LA County history,” said Klein.
