1900 Saint Antoine Building Purchased
Bedrock Real Estate Services LLC, owned by Dan Gilbert, has acquired the 1900 Saint Antoine Building in Detroit. Alidade Capital LLC sold the 108,000-square-foot office building, which it had bought in 2015, for an undisclosed price.
The building was originally known as the Madison Office Building. However, Alidade changed its name to the street address, 1900 Saint Antoine, to prevent confusion. A 46,000-square-foot office building at 1555 Broadway, owned by Gilbert, is also named the Madison Building.
Bedrock indicated that the building will be 100% occupied by summer of this year, with a tenant who will sign a long-term lease for 96,000 square feet. Detroit-based engineering firm Sigma Associates Inc. already has 12,000 square feet.
