$182.7M Rose Bowl Renovation Finalized
The final pieces of a more than 10-year, $182.7-million renovation program at the venerable Rose Bowl are nearing completion. This month, Los Angeles-based Bernards is completing the Wireless Group project that brings the nearly 100-year-old stadium up to 21st century speed.
The project involves AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile and encompasses a new wireless building and installation of new infrastructure and antennae to support high speed cell phone service during events.
The Rose Bowl’s multi-phase upgrade and renovation required a collaborative process across a large team. A major challenge to the construction process was completing work alongside stadium operations including UCLA football games, the Rose Bowl game, and a host of sporting, musical or community events.
