180K-SF Life Time Happy Valley-Peoria Planned

Life Time Inc., a developer, owner and operator of luxury athletic resorts, announced plans for a 180,000-square-foot center in Peoria, AZ. Dubbed Life Time Happy Valley-Peoria, the center will be at 24700 N. 67th Ave., with opening planned by the end of this year.

In the meantime, Life Time just opened Life Time Biltmore, a 105,000-square-foot facility at 2580 E. Camelback Rd., at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix. The center has dedicated studios, more than 400 pieces of cardiovascular and resistance-training equipment, a full-size basketball court, spa, café and outdoor rooftop beach club with leisure pool, resort-style seating and bistro.

Both the Peoria and Phoenix facilities will create a total of 600 new jobs, with a $77 million investment.
