18 Walmart Health Centers to Open in Texas

Walmart is opening 18 Walmart Health Centers in Texas. Three are now open in Pearland, Sugar Land and Tomball. Eight will be in the Houston area, the remainder in North Texas.

The remaining 15 new Walmart Health centers in Texas will open throughout the summer and fall. The facilities are approximately 5,400 square feet, located beside Walmart Supercenters, and will feature a range of health services. These services may vary by location but include same-day primary care, primary care, dental, behavioral health, labs, X-rays, community health and telehealth.

The Walmart Health centers in Texas will also offer value-based care for eligible senior customers, including annual check-ups, dental cleanings and support managing chronic conditions.

Walmart debuted its freestanding health center concept in 2019. Currently, there are 42 Walmart Health locations open across Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois and Texas.
