Rio Bravo Ranch, a 1,752-acre farm in West Texas’ Hudspeth County, is up for sale. In addition to the land, which fronts the Rio Grande River, the deal includes 100% water rights convey. With the only privately-owned dam on the Rio Grande in Texas, the ranch provides 30,000-acre feet of water per year.

The property is on FM 192, southeast of El Paso, TX. Icon Global Group is marketing the acreage on behalf of the current owners. According to Icon Global’s Bernard Uechtritz, the property’s water rights date back more than a century, while being outside of irrigation and conservation districts. “I cannot overstate the importance, long-term significance and revenue opportunities of any water rights asset in Texas, specifically West Texas,” he added.
