Sam Moon Group sold the Metropark Square Shopping Center in Shenandoah to the Mubarak Real Estate Group. The retail portion of Metropark Square is a 70-acre mixed-use development.

Strive represented the seller and procured the buyer.

The 173,000-square-foot retail center features a mix of entertainment, dining and service-oriented retailers. It is anchored by a 43,000-square-foot AMC Theatre and a 40,000-square-foot Dave & Buster’s.

Last year, three more entertainment concepts opened there: the Game Show Battle Rooms; challenge room Brkthrough, and escape room Escapology. A half dozen eating establishments are also located in the center.

Sam Moon Group maintains acreage behind the commercial area at 8888 Metropark Drive for multifamily development, including The Residences at Metropark. That project, which features 307 units of one- to three-bedroom apartments and retail on the first floor, is under construction and expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
