170-Acre Denver Land Sale Leads to 1M-SF Build-to-Suit for Retailer
Colorado-based Schuck Communities sold two land sites totaling 170 acres in Denver’s Commerce City market slated for development of a new industrial distribution facility. Becknell Industrial acquired the land and will be developing the one-million-square-foot, build-to-suit for an unnamed national home improvement retailer.
The properties are located within Nexus at DIA and Nexus North, a master-planned business park located at Tower Road and East 84th Ave in the eastern Denver suburb.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Drew McManus, Bryan Fry and Ryan Searle handled all three correlating transactions consisting of:
– the sale of 158 acres to Becknell Industrial, with Cushman & Wakefield representing the seller, DIA Tech Center, LLC.
– the sale of 12 acres to Becknell Industrial, with Cushman & Wakefield representing the seller, Schuck DIA, LLC.
– and the one-million-square-foot lease, with CBRE’s Jim Bolt and Mike Camp in collaboration with CushWake’s McManus representing the landlord, Becknell Industrial.
