150K-SF Center Acquired for Cryptocurrency Mining Operations

Pinchal & Co. LLC closed a deal with Skybox Data Centers of Dallas to acquire a 150,000-square-foot facility in the north Dallas suburb of Plano, TX.  Pinchal acquired the building for its client, TMGcore, which will use it for cryptocurrency mining activities.

CBRE’s Haynes Strader, Brant Bernet and Chris Hermann represented the buyer in the transaction. CBRE declined to reveal the facility’s exact location. However, Skybox Data Centers’ website had information about Legacy One, a 150,000-square-foot data center situated near the Legacy West development at Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121). Additionally, TMGCore’s website indicated that it is investing $7 million in the project, while Pinchal is adding approximately $60 million.

TMGcore developed a unique use case with a coolant for industrial technology operations. Once the facility is operational, the company will be one of the first to use this compound with enterprise scale cryptocurrency mining apparatus.
