150-Unit Affordable Housing Community Opens in Fairfax
KTGY has unveiled The Lodge at Autumn Willow, a new affordable housing community in Fairfax, Virginia.
The community provides 150 apartments to those earning 30–60% of the area’s median income, addressing a critical need for affordable, design-forward housing. The building occupies only a small portion of the land, leaving most of the site preserved or enhanced with amenities such as trails, fire pits, courtyards, and outdoor recreation spaces reminiscent of a national park lodge or summer retreat. The project is designed to meet EarthCraft Gold, Energy Star, and Zero Energy Ready Home standards.
“The Lodge at Autumn Willow offers residents affordable living in a peaceful, natural setting with convenient access to nearby neighborhood amenities,” said Jonathan Lubonski, Executive Vice President of Development for The Michaels Organization. “We’re grateful for our architectural partner KTGY for designing this beautiful community, ensuring our residents have access to a premium housing solution at an affordable price level.”
