137K-SF Gateway Plaza Goes to Nooner Holdings

Nooner Holdings acquired Gateway Plaza, a 136,553-square-foot retail center in the northeast San Antonio suburb of Live Oak, TX. Tryperion Partners, the seller, ended its five-year hold on the asset with the sale.

John Taylor, Drew Fuller, Josh Villarreal and Kyle Shaffer with HFF represented the seller. HFF also sold the center to Tryperion in 2014. The center delivered in 2008, and is 98.3% leased to national and local tenants including Burlington, Goodwill, Laser Legend, Furniture Now, James Avery Craftsman and Great Clips. The center is situated on 13.7 acres at 7505, 7513 and 7529 North Loop 1604.

“This represents a successful round-trip investment for our client, Tryperion, and an opportunity for Nooner Holdings to create even more significant value on Gateway Plaza with their proactive local management and leasing presence,” Taylor said. The acquisition is Nooner Holdings’ second so far in 2019.  The local seller acquired the 171,404-square-foot Military Crossing retail center in January 2019.
