136-Unit Apartment Complex Slated For LA’s Pico Boulevard
Los Angeles real estate developer, Local Development, LLC, has filed plans to build a seven-story, 136-unit apartment building at the corner of Pico and South Redondo Boulevards in Los Angeles. The project is scheduled to break ground in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
The complex will include a mix of studio, one- two- and three-bedroom residences, with 13 of the 136-units reserved for tenants at the extremely low income housing level. Amenities planned include a fitness center, business center, rooftop deck, two-story clubhouse and a pool with outdoor BBQ’s and cabanas.
Designed by Lahmon Architects, the brick facade at the two-story base will mimic the frontage of nearby homes and the building will feature grade-level live/work units with enclosed outdoor spaces.
“There is significant demand for housing in this area of Los Angeles,” said Local Development’s founder Jason Grant. “We look forward to developing a building that is approachable and well-designed, offering high-quality housing for an area ripe for development.”
