Santa Clara Approves $125M Office Development
The City of Santa Clara, CA approved Terrence J. Rose Inc.’s plan to redevelop an existing office property into a $125-million, six-story, 250,000-square-foot office campus. The six-acre site at 3375 Scott Blvd. currently houses Garrett Business Center, and includes four single-story buildings totaling roughly 76,700 square feet.
Built in the late 1970s, the property is near the Highway 101 corridor and the Caltrain Lawrence Station. The city approved demolishing the existing structures. Construction is anticipated to commence by Q1 2018, and the building is expected to deliver in Q4 2019.
The new campus will be called 3375 Scott Blvd., and will include a four-story parking structure. Envisioned as a LEED-certified facility, the building will have up to 41,500-square-foot floorplates, and a rooftop deck with an outdoor kitchen.
Colliers International’s Mike Rosendin, Craig Fordyce, and Shane Minnis are handling the leasing assignment.
