$125M Gilbert Mixed-Use Project to Start Taking Shape
A Scottsdale-based developer is ready to begin construction on a $125 million mixed-use project that will bring two new hotels, office space and retail to a high-traffic corner of Gilbert. Diversified Partners said construction will begin in April. Sigma Contractors is the builder. It’s slated to take one year to build.
A Phoenix Business Journal report states that a corporate office for Bell Bank, a five-story Residence Inn by Marriott, a Hilton Garden Inn, a two-story multi-tenant office-retail building, a 7-Eleven fueling station and free-standing Chipotle Mexican Grill are already planned for the Mercy Center project. Mercy Center is slated for more than 11 acres at the southeast corner of Val Vista Drive and Mercy Road, across from Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and down the street from several medical offices and services.
The two-story building will have Starbucks operating on both floors.
