$120M Mixed-Use Near Lenexa City Center Enters Second Phase

A $120 million mixed-use project near Lenexa City Center is entering its second phase under a new name. Originally called Reflections at City Center, the development – now dubbed The Quarry – is developed by Wichita-based Vantage Point Properties Inc., reported the Kansas City Business Journal.

The 32-acre site will feature a 338-unit apartment complex and approximately 145,000 square feet of Class A office space across three buildings along the northern half of the property. Plans call for the apartments to open in the summer of 2025.

Marty Gilchrist, Suzanne Dimmel and Andrew Greene of Cushman & Wakefield will manage the office leasing. Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture and Krehbiel Architecture will be the architects. Vantage Point Properties pivoted from the original plans in 2022, which didn’t include apartments and called for the construction of 315,000 square feet of office space.
