1180 Avenue of the Americas Adds 68K-SF Lease

1180 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown has added two new long-term leases. SelfHelp Community Services, a nonprofit serving older and vulnerable adults, will occupy 45,689 square feet on the second and third floors for its new headquarters. American National Standards Institute (ANSI), a nonprofit overseeing voluntary consensus standards, will occupy 22,819 square feet on the 10th floor.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Mark Boisi, Bryan Boisi, Michael Baraldi, and Harry Blair represented the landlord, Northwood Investors, in the transactions. The property recently underwent capital improvements, including a renovated entrance, lobby, and façade, as well as a penthouse amenity with a outdoor terrace and interior space.

“The building’s tenants benefit from the property’s great accessibility and proximity to public transportation, as well as the building’s best-in-class penthouse amenity center. The building provides ample dynamic spaces for business and leisure and is a fantastic fit for a wide variety of tenants.” said Boisi.
