111 Sutter Street in San Francisco Receives LEED Platinum Status

Paramount Group, Inc. just announced that 111 Sutter Street has achieved the prestigious LEED Platinum status. The office building was also San Francisco’s highest scoring LEED Project last year.

“111 Sutter’s distinguished LEED achievement is a testament to our continuous dedication to sustainability and responsible building operations,” Wilbur Paes, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and treasurer at Paramount Group, said. “We are extremely proud that we consistently deliver this same level of excellence throughout our portfolio, as 100 percent of our office properties are either LEED Gold or Platinum certified.”

The U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification is considered to be the most revered sustainable building recognition program worldwide. 111 Sutter’s LEED rating reached Platinum from Gold status as a result of its energy, water, and waste conservation programs.

Low-flow fixtures were also installed to reduce the amount of water used. They followed strict waste management procedures to increase recycling as well.
