11-Story Dallas-Area Senior Living Project Topped Off
It’s taken over two years to get this far, but most builders agree that once they’ve placed the uppermost steel member of the building, it’s downhill from there.
Anthology Senior Living reached that milestone on Anthology of Highland Park, a 121-unit assisted living and memory care community in Dallas. PRDG Architects provided the design and Cadence McShane Construction Co. serves as general contractor.
The developer broke ground in November 2021, financing its construction with a $41.7 million loan from First National Bank of Omaha. Completion is expected this summer.
Anthology of Highland Park is an 130,000-square-foot, 11-story development. The high rise features 24 memory care units occupying the second floor and 97 assisted living units on the remaining floors. The assisted living units include eight studios, 53 one-bedroom units, and 36 two-bedroom/two-bathroom configurations. The property will feature amenities tailored to the needs of its residents, providing a salon, theater, fitness center, library and pub with a fireplace, and top-floor dining areas with views of Dallas.
