108K-SF Linn Energy Building Sells for $21M

The Linn Energy Building sold to EOG Resources Inc. for $21.4 million. The new owner is planning to relocate to the 108,000-square-foot building at 14701 Hertz Quail Springs Pkwy. in Oklahoma City from its current location at the IBC Center at 3817 Northwest Expwy.

Barry Murphy with Cushman & Wakefield negotiated on behalf of the seller, Riviera Operating LLC, an offshoot of Linn Energy. Allan Meadors, also with Cushman & Wakefield, represented the buyer.

Linn Energy LLC, headquartered in Houston, built the facility in 2015, and filed for bankruptcy the following year.  Roan Resources, one of Linn’s three offshoots, had space in the Linn Energy building, and was acquired in late 2019 by Citizen Energy Operating LLC.
