$105M Loan Launches Hyatt Regency Stonebriar Construction
A $105-million construction loan, originated by CLG Hedge Fund, LLC and financed by Beal Bank, provided developer Sam Moon Group the capital needed to break ground on the new Hyatt Regency Stonebriar in Frisco, TX.
According to Anthony Sassine with Dallas-based CLG Hedge Fund, the deal was a “multifaceted financing arrangement, but we were able to work with the Moons and provide a creative solution to their financing needs with no syndication risk.”
The 18-story, 303-room hotel is being built in partnership with the city of Frisco, with completion scheduled for 2020. The hotel, which will be connected to the massive Stonebriar Centre mall on SH 121 and the Dallas North Tollway, will also offer a 54,585-square-foot conference center, a 3,000-square-foot Frisco city library and an 800-space parking garage.
