This fall, 101 new apartments will open at La Casa del Mundo, a new apartment community at 3475 Third Avenue in the Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx.

“La Casa del Mundo will provide greater opportunity and quality of life to 101 low, very low, and extremely low-income households, while also fostering economic development in the Morrisania neighborhood thanks to the addition of new commercial space,” said Eric Enderlin, president of the City’s Housing Development Corp. (HDC).

Housing officials are now accepting applications for the lottery to move into the new apartments. Information on New York’s housing lottery is available at NYC Housing Connect.
