$100M Minneapolis MF Development Gains Planning Approval
The Minneapolis Planning Commission unanimously approved Bader Development’s proposed Calhoun Towers development. The more than $100-million project includes 857-units that are spread across four new buildings, as well as an existing 22-story, 113-unity tower.
The 4.5-acre project at 3430 List Pl. is slated to house two new 26-story apartment buildings, two low-rise apartment buildings of six and seven stories, and 856 new parking spaces. Bader acquired the property for $31.5 million in late 2016, and anticipates construction commencing by summer 2019.
Next month, the project is slated to be reviewed by the city’s Planning and Zoning Committee, prior to a full Council discussion over rezoning a portion of the project site.
