$100M Development Plan Unveiled for Valley’s Sportsmen’s Lodge

Midwood Investment & Development unveiled plans for the a $100-million development of The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, CA. The iconic site is envisioned as a premier retail, dining and lifestyle destination, following new ground-up development encompassing 94,000 square-feet of retail space.

Midwood Investment & Development’s John Usdan says, “The redevelopment of The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge marks an important milestone for our firm and Studio City. We have been long-term owners of the property, and we are looking forward to making it a central gathering place for the community and provider of amenities for those who live and work in the area.”

The San Fernando Valley property at Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Ventura Boulevard will feature outdoor communal areas. It will be anchored by a 30,000-square-foot Equinox club, and a roughly 11,000-square-foot Erewhon Organic Grocer and Café.

Groundbreaking is set to commence in August, with an anticipated opening set for Fall of 2020.
