$100M, 28-Story Student Tower Proposed in Midtown Atlanta
Atlanta-based CityLife Development Partners and Athens, GA-based student housing developer Landmark Properties are proposing a $100-million, 28-story student housing tower in Midtown Atlanta. The Mark at Atlanta is planned as a 425,000-square-foot development, with 230 student housing units.
The 1.1-acre site at Spring and 10th is near Georgia Tech and Tech Square, an area with several student housing towers underway, including The Standard, a 19-story story project and the 706-bed University House. The neighborhood has also recently been attracting corporate relocations and expansions.
The project is being reviewed by the Midtown Development Review Committee. The group is seeking to include an outdoor patio and restaurant along 10th Street to ensure an engaging outdoor space.
