10 Corso Como’s Only U.S. Location Opens at Seaport

The Howard Hughes Corporation recently celebrated the opening of 10 Corso Como in the Seaport District, the Milan-based fashion destination’s only U.S. location. The opening in conjunction with New York Fashion Week represented another milestone in Howard Hughes’ transformation of the Seaport into a “Port of Discovery.”

The Seaport District’s 10 Corso Como opened with an exhibit of Helmut Newton photography in its art gallery. The space also features an Italian café and restaurant, fashion, design objects and books and a garden.

“The layering of retail with other experiential elements such as food and beverage, entertainment and culture has never been more important,” said Saul Scherl, president of Howard Hughes’ New York tri-state region. “We are looking to reignite New Yorkers’ connection to the Seaport by making it a dynamic destination, both steeped in history and featuring one-of-a-kind experiences that cannot be found anywhere else in the city.”
