Mitchell Hunter

Mitchell Hunter serves as Global Chief Commercial Officer for Trimont. Mitchell’s role is to ensure that clients continue to receive consistency in deliverables and best in class service across the Americas, European and Asian Pacific businesses. He brings more than 27 years of experience to his role overseeing and promoting the development of the firm’s credit and asset management teams, operational services, client services and investor advisory services. As a senior leader, Mr. Hunter serves on Trimont’s management and credit committee and is an active thought leader and speaker on panels at industry conferences and events.

Mr. Hunter previously served as President, Americas where he focused on our core business lines for the region. He has also led Trimont’s non-performing/special servicing team along with various positions within the performing credit and asset management department. He was instrumental in building Trimont’s nonperforming group in the early 2000’s with an emphasis on construction resolutions. Prior to joining Trimont in 1999, he spent five years in the banking industry as a consumer and commercial lender.
