Ukrainian Village Deal Offers Scale in the Neighborhood

Essex Realty Group finalized the sale of 2335-2337 W. Superior St., a 14-unit multifamily property in the Near West Side’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. The buyer, a local investor, purchased the property for approximately $2,270,000

“Ukrainian Village continues to be a neighborhood that attracts multi-family investors,” said Essex director Abe Eilian, who brokered the deal. “Due to the neighborhood’s low density, this property offered investors a rare opportunity to achieve immediate scale in the area. These factors helped us generate 29 property tours and nine offers.”

The property has been immaculately maintained by the same owners for over 30 years and features a number of recent capital improvements. The property sits within an ideal pocket of Ukrainian Village, just steps from the many restaurants, bars, and coffee shops that line Chicago Avenue, and one-half mile from the Western Avenue Metra Station.
