Hines Taps Stream Realty to Lease Mass Timber Project

The Chicago office of Stream Realty Partners has been engaged by Hines to lease T3 Goose Island, a proposed 270,000-square-foot office building located on Goose Island. T3 is short for timber, transit and technology, and while Hines has successfully delivered similar projects in Minneapolis and Atlanta, T3 Goose Island reportedly will be Chicago’s first modern mass timber office building.

Adam Showalter, managing director at Stream, said, “Goose Island has long been known as an epicenter for industrial warehouses and now it is home to companies like Mars Wrigley, UI Labs, CB2, Amazon and several other growth-minded firms. We are excited to lease this project with Hines and provide this unique offering to the market.”

Stream’s Showalter, executive managing director Patrick Russo and EVPs Jessica O’Hara and Brian Duffy will oversee the leasing and marketing efforts of T3 Goose Island, along with Hines.
