Sarah Ares, a University of Iowa graduate, grew up in the Chicagoland area and is now based in Los Angeles. She is actively involved in CREW LA and has served on the CREW Los Angeles Board of Directors since 2025.

With a dynamic career spanning account management, sales, and client relations in the commercial real estate sector, Sarah currently serves as the Director of Business Development at Connect CRE.

Sarah was previously the Associate Director at CompStak, where she played a key role in expanding and driving adoption of the CompStak Exchange platform across West Coast markets. She supported top commercial brokerages and appraisal firms and managed national affinity partnerships.

Before joining CompStak, Sarah worked as a project manager for the SoFi Stadium construction project in Inglewood, overseeing sponsorship design and project execution from conceptualization to installation. She also has experience in residential real estate with the tech startup Flyhomes in Los Angeles.

Earlier in her career, Sarah spent five years in healthcare IT as an analyst and inside sales specialist.

In her free time, Sarah loves exploring new restaurants in LA and spending time with her Siberian Husky puppy Lily.
