Atlas Capital Snags Hell’s Kitchen Apartments for Reported $150M

Atlas Capital Group has acquired 360 W. 43rd St., a 256-unit multifamily property located in Midtown Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Although Atlas Capital did not disclose the acquisition price, Crain’s New York Business reported it as approximately $150 million, or about $586,000 per unit.

The 23-story, approximately 250,000-square-foot property comprises 256 rental apartments, 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a parking garage. Developed in 2002 by the Brodsky Organization, the building offers a range of resident amenities.

Atlas recently acquired 250 E. Houston St., a 130-unit Class A multifamily property in Manhattan’s East Village. The locally based investment, development and management firm is also co-developing 80 Clarkson St., a luxury condominium development, and 570 Washington St., a senior affordable housing development, both in the West Village; and 200 W. 97th St., a residential tower on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

The transaction was brokered by Ivan Hakimian of HPNY.
