Davie Bowling Alley to Make Way for 153K-SF Warehouse

A Davie bowling alley has shut its doors and will soon be razed so Dalfen can build a 151,000-square-foot warehouse. Dalfen landed a $26 million construction loan, allowing it to demolish the 60,000-square-foot Sparez bowling alley and build its warehouse.

CIBC Bank USA provided the mortgage to Dalfen Industrial. It covers the 16.2-acre property at 5325 S. University Drive. The S. Florida Business Journal reports the developer purchased the property for $17.5 million in late 2025. The bowling alley closed soon after, but the building has remained standing.

HGR Construction pulled a permit to demolish the building and construct the warehouse.

The building would have a 35-foot clear height and be surrounded by 292 parking spaces, including 53 larger spaces for trucks and trailers.
