Cushman & Wakefield Brokers Sale of Former O’Fallon Public Works Facility

Cushman & Wakefield has brokered the $4.4 million sale of the former City of O’Fallon Public Works facility located at 1001-1051 Industry Drive in O’Fallon, Missouri.

The 37,002-square-foot industrial property, situated on 5.57 acres, previously served as the City of O’Fallon’s public works operations center. The sale follows the city’s relocation to a newly completed public works facility, creating an opportunity for a new owner to reposition the asset for continued industrial use. The property consists of two industrial buildings and includes warehouse, office and service-related space, as well as secured outdoor storage areas.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Keith Ziercher represented the seller, the City of O’Fallon, in the transaction. The buyer, Earthworks Inc., was represented by Dan Cahill of Avison Young. “We saw strong demand for this asset from both investors and owner-users, ultimately resulting in a sale above the asking price,” said Ziercher, Director, Cushman & Wakefield. “Industrial properties with a combination of functional buildings, outdoor storage capabilities and access to regional transportation networks remain highly sought after across the St. Louis market.”
